715th Bombardment Squadron (BS)

The 715th Bombardment Squadron (BS) was a U.S. Air Force unit with a rich history, established in WWII with the 448th Bomb Group flying B-24s in Europe, then transitioning to B-29s and B-50s with the 509th Bomb Wing at Strategic Air Command (SAC). It later flew FB-111s and, as the 715th Weapons Squadron (WS), trained B-2 Spirit crews at Whiteman AFB before inactivating in 2005, leaving a legacy in heavy bombing and advanced training.
